Weekword: Balance

I seem to have lost this recently and have no time for art. I haven't knitted in days. This is my attempt to get a little bit back. I whipped this up in a very short period and really just threw things together but it was fun. Goal for the weekend: Seek Balance. "Make time for art - It's Important" per one of my favorite prints from Aimee at Artysville. It is hanging in my art room but perhaps I need to move it to another room so that I will go to my art room more often!

Check out Mary's blog, No Polar Coordinates for other participants.

The art journal is back! I am glad you were able to make time for art this week. Isn't it refreshing when you find time? I really love the row of houses near the spine. So cheery.

Happy weekend!

Very inspiring! I think it is a wonderful idea to find time to do what we love instead of what we feel we have to do. :-)

I totally agree - including time to be "creative" is critical for BALANCE in my life... love your blog...

Great journal pages. Love them! And yes, it's so easy to give yourself over to all the many other things in your life and forget about creating. Sometimes I find myself just maintaining and realize that's what got the bad taste in my mouth! Just a half hour or so writing or drawing usually makes me feel much better. Why do I forget?

Fantastic! I love the houses and the way the word balance is balancing.
